My work explores the labyrinth of femininity through ritualistic, performative art making. I journey with my subjects, often trespassing,  in pursuit of magical spaces where we can conjure authentic expressions of self outside the bounds of social constructs. Whether channeling sprits in abandoned buildings or evoking our own  realms in light and color, my Muses and I use these worlds to escape patriarchal capitalist context and connect to our subliminal feminine.

STATEMENT:

My work is a visual antidote to commodified femininity. In a world where corporate culture has reduced the female archetype to the passive subject of an advertising campaign, simultaneously commercializing and disempowering Womanhood— I present strong women whose beauty lies in their agency and freedom. I create images of Women that awaken the primacy of our Power to create Life, liberate us from the quotidian, and channel Magic. I document rituals, rites of passage and triumphant moments of pure expression.
